Silas is growing into the responsibilities weighing him down.
Earth is struggling, but there is hope. The deals that Silas has made have brought resources and trainers to Earth. He's helped some leaders gain an understanding of what they will face.

Did not disappoint
Another solid installment, some great pay offs from previous books with a ton of foreshadowing, I appreciate that some major arcs were satisfactorily closed without being dragged out, while fresh and equally intriguing challenges lay ahead. Just a really fun read/listen. Eagerly awaiting the next book.

brilliant
I found the first book a little bit slow to get in to but I'm glad I stuck with it as I am now hooked and can't wait for the next one

Another great one
Sean Oswald is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors in the LitRPG genre, and this series is one of the reasons.
Pacing is fantastic, characters' are compelling, the story is solid, and the RPG elements of the story are interesting without being overwhelming.
Also, Travis Baldree is amazing, as always.
Looking forward to book 5

Mixed
I know it’s the type of book to be into all the number and gains but I feel I was just listening to static or 50% of this book. The story is great and still enjoyed the book just feel it needed less heavy numbers
