Summary
To save the only man she's ever loved, she must pay a price.
When Dr. Meghan Forester, a young researcher, helps create a vaccine for the deadly Makanza virus, her goal to annihilate the virus is coming true.
But the question remains - what becomes of the Kazzies? They'll always be infected carriers of the terrifying virus. Despite being newly vaccinated, the public still believes they'll die if exposed.
As government discussions about releasing the Kazzies meets public resistance, a frightening event plunges Meghan into the Kazzie world with Davin at her side. Unwittingly, she becomes the poster child for a political movement to free them. But when an old enemy resurfaces, Meghan learns that to save the only man she's ever loved, she must pay a steep price.

Can’t wait for the next!
I loved this story! Excellently written by Krista and performed by Vanessa. It’s was great to continue the story with Megan and the Kassies. I think that Krista has probably predicted just exactly how the world would react in the aftermath of a pandemic and the challenges that would be left for the survivors

Fan-freaking-tastic! ❤️ series!
This is the third book in the series and I can stress it enough that this is a magnificent series! I got suck into the story and was unable to put down the book.
The narrator for this story is well chosen because she has the perfect inflection when telling the story. Vanessa has the best way to bring you into the story! I think she does a magnificent job with the characters and voices of each character.

Another brilliant audio book from Krista Street.
I have read the entire Makansa series and absolutely loved it. The audio book is brilliant too. Megan is still fighting for the rights of the kassies but when the government decide to semi release them to reservation 1 she's upset because they are still not free. It's still a type of prison. There's lots happening in this book which I won't put on here because we all hate spoilers. But all I can say is give the whole series a listen or read it. You won't regret it. It's really well narrated.
I received a copy of this audio book from the author Krista Street but these are my own opinions. Plus I'll be begging her for the next book. Its such a great series.

Reservation 1
I really enjoyed this book. It picks up right where the last book ended. Now that Meghan has helped develop the vaccine for the makanza virus she has her mind set on getting the kazzies set free. Unfortunately the president has a different plan. The plan is to let the kazzies live on Reservation 1. This is the same Reservation that Davin lost his family to the second wave of the virus. Now Meghan will stop at nothing to try to get them set free and treated like normal people. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
