Summary
Pursuing your best friend's dad is never a good idea, but Cameron Motel is feeling reckless. His life is about to change, and Luke is older, attractive...and he represents something Cameron has never had before.
Stability.
Luke didn't mean to get involved with his son's best friend, but Cameron needed a strong hand and Luke was willing to deliver on his promises.
This thing between them is supposed to be a secret, but something as big as love can't stay hidden for long. Then a single phone call sends Cameron farther away from home than he'd ever planned to go, and Luke's subconscious keeps him grounded in the past unable to move on.
Cameron is gone, and to get him back Luke needs to do something big, something bold, something...reckless.

Deliciously dirty best friend's dad
Not my first Kate Hawthorne book, and definitely not my last. ❤❤❤
The perfect mix of best friend's dad, some lovely kink, and a long-distance dilemma. Ended far to soon. Thankfully book 2 is ready to go.
I would die a happy man listening to Evan Carolina moan sweet, filthy words in my ear every night. Again, thankfully, book 2 is ready to go.

I really enjoy the 'forbidden' trope and Reckless falls right into this category when Cameron develops a crush for his best friend Eddie's dad.
Of course their journey to happiness is plagued with issues that most new relationships suffer...with bells on!

as good as the ebook
The story is always 4-5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

A new to me author I will be trying again
3.75 Stars
I didn't know what to expect from this book. I wasn't expecting the D/s dynamic but I was here for it, considering I can't remember reading it from a M/M couple before. Cameron is a bit of a brat and he is attracted and drawn to his best friend's dad Luke. I am interested to read more from Cameron's brothers. I really liked the age gap in this and the steam is on point. Not too heavy despite the dynamic scenes playing out. I volunteered to listen and review a complimentary copy of this. All opinions are my own.

Motel Brothers
This book is the start of the Motel brothers series. Cam is the youngest Motel and has a crush on his best friends dad. When circumstances try to separate them -can they find a way to stay together. I really liked that Cam actually acts like a 18 year old in this. He is young, so we get to see him be a little unreasonable and that was nice to see-though it made me want to smack him a few times. It felt true to the story. Loved meeting all the brothers and can't wait for their audios. This was a my first time listening to Evan narrate. He did a really good job and I'll be listening to more of his work

Nothing stays a secret.
Cameron Motel practically lives on his own, his father is never home and all of his older brothers moved out as soon as they could! Cameron spends a lot of time at his best friend Eddies house, Its just Eddie and his Dad Luke since Eddie's other Dad and Luke divorced. Cameron starts to flirt with Luke and before long they're in a secret relationship. Evan Csrolina did a great job with the narration. MM, Best friends Dad, Age gap, Kink. Brilliant and naughty plot, binge-listen.

wonderful!
What a great start to the series! I really loved the introduction of the 5 brothers in this book. It makes you want to read all the other books right away. Very interesting storyline with the Motel family and the hotel. The chemistry between Luke and Cameron was explosive. I thought that they were both realistic, with strengths and weaknesses and that they really complimented each other. I loved reading their story. The narrator was absolutely fantastic, I thought that the way he voiced the characters was really perfect.

I really loved this book
Cameron is the best friend of Luke's son, Eddie. The summer before both boys are due to leave for college Cameron decides that he want's Luke. Luke knows he should walk away but Cameron is so insistent and willing, What is supposed to be a secret fling gets messy as feelings get involved. I really loved this book and the narration is spot on, The relationship between the two men is exactly what both need and their separation really tugged on my heart-strings.

Insanely hot!
Story: One of the best takes on best friend's Father I have ever read! No only is it scorching hot, but the emotional value of the book is off the charts! Both characters have so much going on and it's so perfectly presented in the story, it was difficult to put the book down! So brilliant!
Narration: Great voice and performance. It was easy to follow the story and tell the characters apart.

Oh Mr Alexander!
I liked this story of young Cameron falling for his best friend's dad. This is the first book in series and a standalone. The story is good with some kinky times and drama but the narrator totally stole the show! And yes, in a good way! All I can think now is Cameron moaning "Mr Alexander!"
I usually like narrators with a deeper voice but this was hands down the hottest character voice in long time!
