Summary
"Get to the cabin."
The words of Katrina’s father echo in her mind. One sentence, her sole purpose. Her dad taught her to be prepared, and they always had a bugout plan. If the world goes down the drain, get to the cabin.
Katrina should have been alone, but she couldn’t leave her friends behind. The five teenagers escape from the fallout shelter and journey through the desert to get to the safe house in the mountains. Except, they can’t run from Project Dandelion because they are Project Dandelion. The government’s attempt to save humanity after a global nuclear war.
As the teens struggle to survive this post-apocalyptic world, Katrina learns things aren’t always what they seem and people can’t always be trusted.

The future are our kids!
What a great continuation of book 1!!
I had one major question at the end of book 1 and I am so glad I got an answer to it. I'm pretty sure Katrina felt the same way
Heather continues to show us that is a great writer and very good with world building in this series.
And let's not forget our Narrator who does great as well.

Excellent Second book
Loved the first book and the second did not disappoint! Brilliant listen, absolutely recommend this series and I cannot wait to listen to the next book

Devoured this book!
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
I finished the first book and had to jump right into the second book despite having other books to listen and review this is how much I loved this book (series), shh I also binged the third book too. I love how the characters interact and the questions and answers that are provoked within this book. I actually felt this could happen which makes the whole thing both more freaky in a omg I hope it never does sense and also that much more engaging as you just find yourself willing the characters on to succeed!
I both love and hate that this was so short love as it meant I could devour it so fast and it means when you just want that short listen that totally gets you through those boring jobs it’s perfection! Then again I just didn’t want it to end. 😂

Captivating story
Loved part 2 of this trilogy, I loved twists that I didn’t see coming, character building, you really fall in love with them in this book. I also really enjoyed the scene setting, I’m the kind of person who draws a picture in there head of a setting and this one was amazing.
Look forward to part 3.
