A nice whistle stop guide to mysticism from the author of the much weightier tome ‘Mysticism: A Study of the Nature and Development of Man's Spiritual Consciousness’, considered to be a classic but not available as an audiobook. Makes for a good listen: Underhill’s writing is evocative and poetic. Here the emphasis is instructional, on how to cultivate a mystical apprehension of ‘reality’ although her guidelines are not very clearly presented for those wanting a step by step guide.
