Possessive Royal by Amarie Avant is a royal age gap romance that I listened to on audio narrated by JT Farrell and Aure Nash. This is the second book in the Duke of Tudor series.

I enjoyed this book more than I did the first book in the series. The relationship between Victor and Luxury is still messy but you can't help but root for them. The cliffhanger left me begging for more. I can't wait to dive into the last book Redeemed Royal.

JT and Aure did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like romantic suspense, age gap romances, or royal romances.

Book 2 picks up where we left off, and it's off and running! The secret is out, and now Lux has to deal with all the royal family. Not a fan favorite, and finding out Victor has a commitment to another has her running. But danger is lurking. Will Victor find he is facing his fate? Will Luxury remain safe? Fast paced, interesting new characters and a sensual love that is slowly going from physical to the heart, this book is fun. I am loving Mary and her dismissal of Luxury, the kind of character you love to hate. I love the relationship between Victor and Burt, and the father feel Victor needs. And of course, the way these two are dancing around their true feelings. What a cliffhanger this book leaves us on, queuing up book 3!

JT Farrell and Aure Nash continue their wonderful narration. Both have settled into these characters making us feel like we are actually hearing their story. It's a wonderful performance.

You can't help who you fall for even if all he tells you are lies. Victor has lied to Lux so much that the only thing that you do know is that she belongs to him and he is unwilling to let her go. He has taken her home but fails to warn her of all the drama associated with his family. Now just when she thinks that they can work things out, the unthinkable happens that changes everything.

After the events that transpired in the first book of the series Victor and Lux have found their way back to each other but the challenges they must face continue. They are dealing with family drama on all sides which causes some turmoil in their relationship and just when their happiness appears imminent think again.

I am enjoying the evolution in the characters and their relationships as the narrators bring out the surprises and steam of their story. 🎧Audiobook Obsession
