Grit!

I love this audiobook! As the mother of four boys, all I can say is that this is a wonderful audiobook. I started putting it on in the car for the boys to listen to, and I have been very impressed. It contains positive messages targeting male athletes who are trying to quiet the negative part of their brain and grow and encourage their positive side with encouraging and empowering words. It is very motivating!

Every little bit helps.

I reviewed the book as a possible resource for my son. I am a single mother and his father is unfortunately, not involved in his life. Resources like this are so valuable, because a mother's perspective cannot always provide the masculine balance teenage boys need. The author does a great job of creating a resource to help teenage boys build mental toughness in sports. The short, 10-minute affirmations can easily fit into his routine. I hope this book and similar resources will boost his confidence and focus during games. The narrator’s tone is motivating, making it relatable for young athletes.
