About this listen

Bishop

She was broken by the hands of my own father.

I can’t hide in the shadows anymore, watching her from a safe distance.
It’s time to show her all my plays.

Kiara Coleman has the answers I need, and if I have to drag her back into my dark world to get them, I will.

Once she’s there I’ll do everything I can to put her broken pieces back together again and keep her in her rightful place by my side.

Kiara

I escaped my living hell three years ago.
I’ve learned to mask the pain and hide from the nightmares that taunt me.

I won a scholarship that will change my life, I should be happy about being here. A fresh start.

Except this fresh start puts me right into the path of him.
Bishop Murdoch, the son of the monster I’ve spent the last three years trying to outrun.

So, that happened

It was kind of weird that they all were in high school and or/ super young 17- 23 years old but somehow they all super amazing mobsters and fighters… meh, it wasn’t at all believable (and that’s saying something hahaha) I could have forgive it but not “the bestfriend/ boyfriend” that somehow has a relationship with but miraculously she doesn’t love him, just as a friend once the MMC shows up! Girl you were gr o o med since you were a child so please go to therapy, you need it. The book had a good premise, but the execution of the plot and the construction of the characters was lacking… such a shame! Also, I assume that the intention of leaving us hanging with the storylines of the rest of the brothers was to make us excited but… they all landed way off. The premise set for the next one though, I desperately want to know what happens with King. Oh well, at least it kept me entertained.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
