Ex fashion model and successful business woman Laura Ayars' perfect world is shattered at a time that should have been the happiest of her life. Keeps you thinking and guessing all the way through, excellently narrated, Thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. Harlan Coben is becoming my new favourite.

So I met Harlan in March of this year (2023) in Dublin. And he told the room ‘if you think you’re a good writer then you probably aren’t!’ His self-depreciating introduction was just that! Humbleness - it was a great read/listen I loved the storyline and his delivery - I can only hope my first book is as cleverly thought and twisty as this. So goodbye to all the haters - if you like honest, fun entertainment then it’s a great book - don’t hold the fact he got better and better and even BETTER against him. It takes bravery to put your thoughts and feelings out there, I could only dream of thinking up such a creative first plot line. Keep on trucking Harlan!

This wasn’t my favourite of his books and I found it a little confusing a first. Still lots of great twists as expected and worth a listen.

Suffice to say, Harlan's talent has developed extremely well. But we all start somewhere. Adore the more recent stories.

Narrator nearly spoiled it. Far too melodramatic. I know this is an old book o e of the first. Possibly, narrators have learned a thing or two since this.
However good plot which is fairly pacey. Slight complicated unravelling but worth a listen

Really interesting twists, the only thing is they didn't explain in any way one vital part of the story (cant say as I don't want to spoil it)

I love this author. This book had a few mediocre reviews. I don’t understand why, I loved it and couldn’t put it down.

So many twists and turns, thoroughly enjoyed it. Narrated well and edge of the seat story until killer revealed.
