Summary

When divorcee Elise signs up to be a foster parent at the age of 50, she wonders if she made a huge mistake.

I loved this story line it brought up a few issues for me that made me reflect.

Damage teenager fostered by first time fostered
Shows possible dangers of fostering as well as the rewards Brilliant use of how damaged kid might be plus how cruel kids can be to less privileged Also shows how damaged child recognises that other kids have some of her issues

An Amazingly beautiful story
Oh my gosh I loved it! Such an emotional book! DJ has so much pain locked inside! Is it possible for Elise to be an emergency foster parent? You will not believe the love and hurt that comes through as you listen to this book. I will definitely be looking for more from this author. I received a free code for this book from Audiobooks Unleashed to listen to on Audible. This review is my own honest opinion.
