I'm afraid the narrator of this version has totally ruined it. I am definitely not going to continue with the book after only a few chapters because his reading is so irritating. It sounds like he is trying to hypnotise me. I think he is trying to put on some kind of 'mysterious story-teller' voice, but the tone of each sentence is exactly the same monotonous, repetitive up/down tone, and he's taking big breaths in the middle of sentences. A shame, as the actual story is probably not bad.
