The book was an amazing adventure. So much detail the light novel has gives context to the story that the show could not. But the real star of the experience was Chris Guerrero, he worked so hard to voice every character and has done such an amazing job. Last volume he did great, but this one was outstanding.

The story was great, really good to check out finally after watching the anime

The narration could have been better, though the voice acting more than makes up for it, especially in Shalltear’s scenes

Really good performance but sadly i found the shalltear voice headache inducing after a while and is sometimes hard to understand. Everything else is amazing.

I have yet to hear any voice actor be this insanely amazing. what a pure joy to listen to such a great book with such a great voice actor

I understand that in the text, the characters might be shouting or speaking with raised voice.
But I *also* know that having an audiobook narrator screaming in your ears will always make for a poor experience.
Chris Guerrero is very talented, but even he can't make a scene with characters constantly screeching at each other an enjoyable listen. There are ways to imply volume without bellowing into the mic.
