Summary

Brought to you by Penuin.

Iris is happy: decent job, good friends, her own flat. Everything but her own family. She and her husband Tom were trying for a baby when he left her for his life coach, Maddy, four years ago.

One day Iris' best friend Fay sends her an Instagram video of Maddy, now a successful family influencer with a huge following, posting wholesome videos with her husband Lee and their three-year-old twins. Tom is nowhere in sight.

So what did Iris end her marriage for? Needing answers, she delves into Maddy's life. Just how much can you hide behind an online persona?

Loved it!

Another great story from Jane. I thought the narration was excellent too. Well worth the wait.

Another winner

Over sharing is another un-put-down-able winner from Jane Fallon. It’s authentic and believable. Very well written and the pace is great. I particularly liked the various character’s’ perspectives as the story unfolded. Highly recommended!!

Jane great but finger on the speed button

Better narrated than the last book but production should have directed the narrators to speak at approximately the same speed!
I like how Jane is getting complexities into her characters and she picks relevant subjects. Next one please!

Nice story, strange off-pace narration

I always enjoy Jane’s books, this was a nice easy listen. Agree with many other reviews about the narration though, I had to listen to Iris on 1 and the other lady on 1.2 which became a bit annoying!

Good in parts

I have thoroughly enjoyed other Jane Fallon works but this wasn’t as good although the bad effects of social media made an interesting storyline. The voice of Iris for the first half sounded as if she was anxious not to miss the 17.35 from Waterloo so spoilt the enjoyment and distracted from the overall story. The last third improved but not a book I would listen to again.

Waited for plot

I disliked the story most boring I hoped it would liven up but there was no real plot.

Easy listening

As expected, this book is easy listening, a bit laboured in the middle, a little twist at the end. Ok overall. Not something I'd listen to again, but it did the trick on this hot summer's day off.
