Stick with it….worth the wait.

A meandering tale of a family in the sixties in Minnesota. Stick with it as even when nothing in particular is happening, the story takes you along , promising a great last third of the book. It is actually a graceful read. The word grace is very apt

Beautiful literature.

I loved Ordinary Grace. It was exactly that. A book about the ordinary grace of a human experience of life. Beautiful writing, and the narration was perfect for the feel of the book.

Beautifully written

I liked the weave of the story, it felt genuine, believable and well thought, not fake or forced. The characters were interesting to the end, I was still wondering about their lives for a couple days after I had finished the book.

Lovely small town snapshot

One summer, one town, many mysteries and adventures. Beautifully narrated story of one young boy’s experience of tragedies, mistakes and growing up in a complex small town in the early sixties.

Enjoyable

Krueger's writing style is exquisite, blending lyrical prose with a deep exploration of the human condition. The narrative is filled with beautifully described scenes and evocative details that transport readers back to the 1960s, creating a vivid sense of time and place.

Wonderful story beautifully written

Although this is a story about a family tragedy it was captivating in its descriptive dialogue and subject matter . Exceptional well narrated too . Although initially I was unsure I would highly recommend sticking with it so that you understand the formative tale of a tragic period in this close family’s life from each one’s point of view and the hardships that can change life’s direction in an instant. Excellent .
