An utter delight
Funny, sharp and surprising. A brilliant story about friendships and dating in our crazy modern world (as well as a few fairy tale twists). Great narrator too

A new classic of the genre
A really fun read with some laugh out loud moments. There are turns you expect and turns that take you by surprise. Well performed as well. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic!
I loved this book from start to finish. Brilliant relatable characters, a wonderful plot that kept me guessing and such a joy to listen to. A fabulous bit of escapism that I really needed.
I look forward to reading more by Luci Adams in the future.

Main character is a self absorbed, egotistical, self- centred woman who can’t be happy for anyone other than herself
