Don’t listen to this before you go to sleep, it contains all the things that make your blood run cold, mass killings child abuse and devil worship.
Listening during the day, you will be fine.
I do worry about Stephen Leather’s research!!!

the series just gets better. the characters are sound and the story is continuing and diverse. well worth reading. very gripping and holds your attention.

Breath-takenly paced with tomes of harsh reality...twisted with supernatural grasping, undercurrents which pull the reader further into the believable ...to then surface into the unthinkable...Stephen Leather is a thoroughly unique writer whom challenges a plethora of topics.

Eery...haunting and uncomfortable!

Another terrific read from Mr Leather. The stories seem to get darker and darker and the graphic description of some of the horrific moments not for the faint hearted. But there is humour too and a cracking story.

This book follows on brilliantly as the latest in the series of Jack Nightingale books and was once again beautifully acted ( narrated, but I prefer the term act) by the excellent Paul Thornley.

A satisfying conclusion leaving me exhausted but yet wanting more. I may take a short break from the series. But then again…….

Another great Jack Nightingale book that I couldn’t stop listening to.

Whilst hard going at times due to the nature of the storyline content and the brilliant narration, the story flows well, and kept me entertained until the last chapter.

Having listened to the whole series so far, these would make an excellent TV show/Movie. The characters are likeable and you do find yourself rooting for them to succeed.

On to the next.
