Loved it

But it was really dragged out.
The romance at first was fine, but the back and forth between the characters grew tiresome very quickly - "I dont date cops" then dont??? Stop telling us 100 times! The bickering and the lack of communication between them was BORING by the end of it, they had the same argument over and over with no resolution. They also said pretty harsh things to eachother, so I couldn't even root for them, it was just toxic. I listened to those chapters on 3x speed to get it over and done with. And then talking about marrying after knowing eachother less than 2 weeks. Laughable.
I wanted more focus on the actual crime, more intrigue, more clues - the chapters that were non-romance were done really well and had you racking your brains to think who the culprit could be! But the poorly paced/repetitive romance subplot about two characters who barely knew eachother really took away from it unfortunately.
So much potential :(

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Tami Hoag always produces a book worth reading as they are invariably well writtenWould you recommend Night Sins to your friends? Why or why not?
As far as the crime element of this book it is excellent but, in my opinion, is let down by the detraction of the love interest/sex scenes between the two central characters. This is all rather cliche. Was Night Sins worth the listening time?
As a whole the book is worth a listen but if you like your crime books to contain only crime/detection then this may not be for you.Any additional comments?
The eighteen hours could have been edited down to around twelve and still made an excellent book.A Third Too Long
