Once a devoted children's librarian, Jane Jameson now works at a rundown occult bookstore. Once a regular gal, she's now a vampire. Loved book two in this series, Amanda did a great narrating of the book. I love Grandma Ruthie and that she met her match in her beau. It was good to see how Jane and Gabriel's 'relationship' unfolds amoungst the going-ons in town.

Only bought this as it was cheap but very happy that I did. From the cover it looked like a bodice ripper which I'm not keen on but it turned out to be a great balanced book of the complicated problems encountered by a woman who is trying to be excepted in her family and community after being turned. The plot is good with great humour harmonised with the dangers of "living" with the disability of being dead. The word "spazy" should never be used in this day and age though!! t is far from acceptable!

Absolutely love Molly Harper’s books. Funny, entertaining and gripping! Can’t get enough of her books. This whole series is amazing and fun to read and listen to.

Yes it's a slightly predictable story and you can see the ending coming before the characters but that is part of the charm of these books. I listen when i'm doing busy work to make the time pass quicker. They are easy to follow, lots of LOL moments and you fall in love with all the characters!
