I found this a boring listen. It's story feels bit too random, so I wouldn't recommend.

Without spoilers, I thought the performance by the actor was great, but the title and the blurb are hugely deceptive as the story wasn’t necessarily about their relationship itself, but what felt like a load of others things thrown in. There were so many things going on, it was like 1 thing got resolved and then something else happened. So I think as mini-books, it would have been great, but overall, a bit too much and it didn’t focus on the story that was highlighted in the blurb and the title of the book. But an easy listen all the same :)

who wouldn't want a Jager in their life? I wanted a break from the dark mafia romances I've been listening too recently and this was just the ticket. love comes when you least expect it for Jager and Cali. I enjoyed listening to this book, it has all the feels and a smidge of spice too. I'm definitely going to follow up on the rest of the series.
Megan Styles did a great job with the narration.

I was so relieved that this was a good listen WITHOUT LOTS OF graphic sexual content.
Chapter 21 is full of that if you want to skip it.

It has a good story with a twist. I am now looking forward to reading the rest in the series in the 'INCLUDED' before it is no longer free on 8/3/2023.

I wouldn't spend a credit on this book but I recommend it if It is FREE/INCLUDED.
The narrator as good also.

Easy listening to teeny book

No angst really but steady and pleasant listening to

This is bubble gum, light romantic feel-good fiction. The title’s are misleading but that’s a moot point. If you listen you’re doing so knowing you’re getting a very particular type of undemanding, escapist fiction with likeable characters, fairly thin plots but nonetheless enough to keep one absorbed and enjoying the listen.

It was a fun story but the title is misleading. I thought there was going to be all this drama about her dating her brother's best friend but there was non of it, the brother and her mom couldn't care less, and he wasn't even the brother's best friend. Don't get me wrong there was plenty of drama coming from all sides but nothing like the title implies. Also no real steam either.
But the narration was really good.

Cali’s life is not going how she had planned, and it’s just one curveball after another.
This is a bit of an emotional roller coaster for her.
This book was fun, and a bit frustrating, and a little steamy.
