Summary
Nephilim has passed the most important test at Angelborn and is ready for her first significant augmentations that will bring her closer to her goal of becoming a Guardian Angel. The training gains intensity, but that’s not the only significant change for Nephilim and the other recruits. The most important part of their education is learning how to kill – anyone, anytime, without hesitation or qualms.

Enticing Origin Story
Those familiar with the main story will already appreciate Nephilim but the origin series works either as a good prep or additional listening. Having the full main series to date and the origin series I still find more to appreciate having this to listen to. The first of the origin was good but this one is even better as we see her getting closer to the full angel status. Mocikat does so well with this genre and each listen bring out more realism and more enjoyment. Weyman does another stand out job with the narration and this character seems to suit her well.. I requested this audio and have decided to leave my thoughts for everyone.

This book is not wasting resources :)
As in title, it is fully packed with fast paced action. Another step in Nephilim ladder to future. Continuation is very good and it leaves the reader wondering what will be in third origin book, what happened to Her before Behind Blue Eyes storyline. Whole book was a wonderful experience!
