About this listen

This holiday trip to Dublin had been very hard on Doyle’s husband - although he was making a monumental effort to disguise this fact - and unless she very much missed her guess, it was all somehow connected to the grisly murder on the station house steps. That, and an African cabdriver who wore a jaunty tam-o’-shanter.

I love this series of books and enjoyed the narration of both Marcella Riordan and Marnye Young who succeeded in acting the characters of previous books rather than just reading them. It is a pity the same can't be said for the present narrator Rebecca Fearn.
I find her voice irritating in the extreme, and have to concentrate as there is little difference between character voices.
Has detracted from the enjoyment of the audiobook, but not enough to stop listening
