Summary
The BRAND NEW instalment in the gripping Armstrong and Oscar cozy mystery series...It's murder in paradise!
A much-needed holiday…
Dan Armstrong hasn’t done much retiring since moving to Tuscany, and with his new career as a successful private investigator taking off, it seems murder seems to follow him. He’s hoping a much-needed trip to beautiful Portofino will give him the break he needs and quality time with girlfriend Anna.
A gathering of celebrities…
Portofino is a celebrity paradise, and holidaying on a nearby superyacht is a group of British media stars, all famous for being infamous. Dan isn't impressed by their status or wealth, but when he overhears an argument between two of the group, he suspects something fishy could be going on…
A cold-blooded killer?
And then a body is washed up on shore and Dan’s hopes for a holiday go overboard. Could this simply be a tragic accident or is there a killer amidst the assembled celebrity cast? Dan and Oscar have their work cut out before the tide turns…
It's another gripping case for Dan and Oscar to solve!
A gripping new murder mystery series by bestselling author T.A. Williams, perfect for fans of Death in Paradise, Lee Strauss and Beth Byers.

Most Excellent
I have thoroughly enjoyed binge listening to this series of books by TA Williams.
The main character of retired DCI Dan Armstrong and of course Oscar the dog, are great fun as is the way other characters are introduced into each mystery/story. The description of the Italian scenery, culture and food is very well done and enjoyable too.
Narration by Simon Mattacks is excellent as always.
I really hope there will be more adventures for Oscar and Armstrong.

Enjoyable comfy murder
Love the setting of this series, really are transported to a beautiful area of Italy.
Oscar , Dan and his friends have become Italian family to me.
Difficult to create an original murder but as usual this one did not disappoint. Comforting murders , no violence as such just an enjoyable / comfy murder .
Love this series especially as they are never long winded great escape , perfect for holiday / walking / chores listening

Murder in Portofino
Excellent - believable characters and a good plot which was well presented. I think this is the last in the series series - a great pity!
Many thanks!

I adore the series
The book combines a solid police procedural with a cosy mystery. There's not a word out of place and I can only hope there's a next one coming and it will also be read by the unrivalled Simon Mattacks!

A thoroughly enjoyable series
Once again TA Williams has given us a really good story with interesting settings and some intriguing historical information.
I am so glad I discovered the Armstrong and Oscar series and although being a vegan I’m not keen on the food descriptions I do love the characters and appreciate the affection Armstrong has for Oscar.
The places described make me wish I could visit these lovely Italian towns.
Simon Mattacks is a lovely voice actor, managing all the quite different characters effortlessly including the female voices I’m glad to say.
