Tommy and Evelyn Christie have reluctantly agreed to host the wedding of Tommy's mother to Andrew Parsons, the Marquess of York, at their home Hessleham Hall.

None of the happy couple's adult children support the marriage, but when Andrew is found dead outside the wedding chapel on the morning of his wedding, it seems one of them has taken their anger a step too far. I love these Tommy and Evelyn books but....... This narrator makes it very difficult to understand some of the characters. She adopts a terrible, squeaky, pseudo upper class accent, (posh), which is not easy to listen to. Not for me, sorry.🤔
