Summary
Moving with my three best friends and our seven kids into a dilapidated brownstone in Boston may have seemed like the most insane thing I’d do this year. Apparently the universe said hold my beer.
Because last night I got drunk and married my boss.
Don’t worry, it’s all fake. Or at least everything after 'I Do' will be.
Beckett Langfield is grumpy, rich and hates kids. I’m an overworked, overstressed, and overweight single mom. The only reason we’re getting married is because he needs to fix a PR disaster and I am available. As in sitting next to him, in a bar, when he has this brilliant idea.
Considering I just got divorced, I’m not looking to do that again. But Beckett makes me an offer that I literally can’t refuse, so I don’t.
He’ll help fix up our broken house and all I have to do is take a few pictures and pretend we’re happily married.
Easy peasy.
Now if someone could just remind him that it’s all fake.
Authors Note: Mother Faker is book one of the Momcoms Series and features an accidental marriage between a billionaire grump and a plus size single mom who happens to work for him where there is only one bed, tons of laughs, a lot of ducks, and it's always been you vibes.

Quite possibly my favourite audiobook to date.
Joe & Maxine are my favourite pair and they do more than just bring this book to life.
Thank you to Ms Nicole for giving the curvy girlies their stage! It was sheer perfection and so beautiful AND veryyyyy spicy!🥵 If you're a fan of growly Joe Arden, just listen and thank yourself later!

A perfect rom com in dual narration
Loved everything about this story, especially the perfect mix of characters.
The fact that Becket had been in love with Liv for so long added to the depth of his personality.
Joe Arden has such a sexy voice just perfect for audiobooks (swoon) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely Fantastic!
Loved EVERYTHING about this audio book.
I really must add that their very first intimate scene, was Audio Porn!
I was walking to work before 7am with a very hot face.
This Duet book may have spoiled me for audio books going forward. So Kudos to both Narrators Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden.
It goes without saying that I am immediately on to book 2, Mother Maker!

Looooooved this one! 🤩
This book was amazing!! Not a true fan of the single mom trope but the way these women were portrayed made it a non issue. The prologue was a bit slow but if you stick with it I can promise you won’t regret it. Love seeing women coming together and men showing up for them and for their kids even if they’re not their own. A lot of humor mixed with a wonderful love story between a women her kids and a man acting like a man. I want my own Beckett!! Totally swoony!! 😍 I can’t wait for the est of the books in this series! Love to see if the momcom stays together, not gonna lie, totally hope they will!
And narration? TOTAL AMAZEBALLS!

A Heartwarming Rom-Com Brought to Life
This story brilliantly blends a fake marriage scenario with a heartwarming mix of humor, family chaos, and unexpected love. The story of moving into a rundown Boston brownstone with friends and kids was already wild, but the protagonist's impromptu marriage to her grumpy, rich boss, Beckett Langfield, adds an irresistible twist. Their arrangement, meant to solve Beckett's PR nightmare, unfolds into a delightful narrative filled with laughter, tender moments, and genuine connection. The ensemble of quirky kids, supportive friends, and even a surprise pet makes this book an absolute joy. A perfect pick for those who adore rom-coms with depth, laughter, and heart. Listening to the audiobook narrated by Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden was an absolute delight. Their performances brought the hilarious and heartfelt story of a fake marriage between a single mom and her grumpy boss to life in the best way. Mitchell's range in portraying the various characters was impressive, while Arden's depiction of Beckett added a rich depth to the grumpy yet endearing character.Their dynamic narration added layers of emotion and humor, making the chaotic family life and unexpected romance even more engaging. This audiobook is a gem for anyone who loves a rom-com that's as touching as it is funny.
