About this listen
There are times when Eve’s straight and narrow thinking annoy and make her come across as more droid than human. Eve has a few of those moments in this book but in the end does the correct and moral thing.
Loved Summerset giving her the cookie.
BOOK REVIEW
Entertaining read that covers a lot of ground and emotions in a short time.
Most of our regular favourites are in this one, including Galahad and Somerset.
Eve and Roarke are on opposite sides of a moral dilemma once again.
Peabody gets hit on and is flattered.
The evil extremes of corrupt government groups raises its head again.
Eve makes a decision based on what is right, not what is lawful, which I wholeheartedly agreed with.
I have owned most of these books in paperback for years but now have them all in eBook format, so I am rereading this series once more in order, updating and replacing missing reviews.
Even knowing what is in the future, it is absolutely no hardship to reread this series and I am really enjoying how all the characters are growing and changing.
Eve’s straight and narrow thinking annoy.

As always the mystery had my hanging on every word!
Brilliantly narrated.
