I fancied a lighter read after a few heavy going books I've ploughed through recently and was pleasantly surprised by this. I enjoyed the story and I thought the narrators good. It was nice to have a British accent...all in all I recommend it 👍

I liked this book. It was a slow starter for me, but once the chemistry between Indi and Alex kicked off, I got sucked in.

I am a sucker for enemies to lovers and rockstars and this book is a combination of the 2. even if the enemy part is pretty brief. I loved every single character and he storyline is great. narration was faultless and I think both narrators, not only they couldn't have done a better job, but they both had the perfect voice for the characters. loved it and I will definitely listen to more from the author.

I wasn't keen at the narrators voice but by the time I got engrossed on the 2nd chapter I didn't really pay top much attention to the narrators voice. It was a pretty poor British accent coming from a British reader. I really enjoyed the story.

this is a story of a british rock star who's struggling with Adidiction.
His new "nanny" is employed to keep him from drugs and drink.
so their relationship starts very rocky and slowly grows into something else.
with a broken family at home, she takes the job to help with bills and is frown out of her comfort zone.
we later find a twist in the story of how their life's previously connected (indirectly). NO SPOILERS!

I thoroughly enjoyed this and think it's the best of L.J. Shen's books. I've read many of her books and excepted this to be a lighthearted quick read but instead found myself totally invested with these characters. I'd love to see this as a movie one day?

I got this Audio book after reading the book, falling in love with it and getting high recommendations for the audio readings! This is my 3rd attempt at listening to an audio book, and I ready to give up- but I’m completely blown away. The story is so addictive to start with, and the characters come to life so beautifully. What’s really got me is how LJ Shen tackles drug addiction in various aspects of life- especially celebrity life, and how it affects the flip side of the coin. Also, the true depiction of characters’ British culture puts a silly smile on my face, Shen really gets the lads’ character so perfectly.
The audio captivated me!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The crazy, out of control rock star Alex is complex man and no matter how hard Indie tried, she couldn't help but fall for him. Their reactions to each other is intense and undeniable. A beautiful tragic, emotional story of love and second chances.
