About this listen
Meditations is former US President Bill Clinton's favorite book. This audio consists of a series of personal writings by Marcus Aurelius, Roman Emperor AD 161-180, setting forth his ideas on Stoic philosophy.

“Being stoic is being calm and almost without any emotion. When you're stoic, you don't show what you're feeling and you also accept whatever is happening without drama. The noun stoic is a person who's not very emotional. The adjective stoic describes any person, action, or thing that seems emotionless and almost blank, the top three are (Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus)”.
It doesn’t mean you’re a heartless, you just think about things logically sometimes philosophically before reacting, if at all, just not emotionally charged, also handy when dealing with any kind of adversity, aggression or altercation for example.
Loving stoic wisdom and philosophy

Just as my brain is trying to construct the sentence in it's original form and translate it into the current meaning the narrator has moved on.
It's difficult to understand and almost impossible to digest.
The narrator's pace if slowed down may help but it would still be difficult.
Original Roman text read at a relatively fast pace
