I received this free copy for an honest review. Honestly I loved the story, listened to it for almost two days straight, it is a fun and cozy story, slow paced but does well on it and still gets adventurous. A lot more realistic and still pretty fantastic. And the most important, very satisfying. The narrators are great, clear, easy to understand and really can vocalize and give life to your imagination for the characters. I highly recommend it!

Great and fun story for a relaxing listen

A wonderful story full of slice of life elements. There's a perfect blend of romance and friendship with small adventures. The narration is awesome. It's a steal for 1 credit.

I enjoy this genre. This offering however has some key fundamental issues that leave the listener with the impression that the books were not copy edited? Or were done so lazily? For instance there is a quest system at the start of the first book that gets completely forgotten about and never mentioned again. There are seemingly significant objectives that get forgotten. Important and unimportant characters have fundamental characteristics changed. We never find out who won the pie contest, but there is no reason why not. The effect is jarring.
Even if the above were not the case, the books just aren’t that great. The characters’ motivations are often flimsy, the characters themselves rendered two dimensional, and the story overall is weak. The narration is fine but also the re-recordings are quite apparent.
Apologies for the bad review. I don’t tend to leave reviews but this one needs to be called out.
