Summary
Welcome to the Omega Celibacy Club. No sex until graduation. No unexpected pregnancies. No alphas needed.
Simon
Even if it’s not politically correct to say so anymore, everyone still knows that alphas and omegas are ruled by their biology. Sure, it’s the 21st century now and most people have given up believing in archaic ideas like fated mates, but just take a look at college drop out rates and you’ll see that some things haven’t changed at all. Alphas still dominate, omegas still submit, and horny college kids in heat let their hormones dictate poor choices every day.
Not me and my roommates, though. Not if I have anything to say about it. Too many of our classmates here at Preston College have gotten knocked up and then dropped out. Given up their goals and dreams just because they’ve met an alpha with a big...ego. The point here is that there’s only one surefire way to avoid that trap, and that’s why I started the Omega Celibacy Club. No sex until graduation. No unexpected pregnancies. No alphas needed.
And no, I’m not just saying that because I’ve been hung up on one particular alpha for approximately ever. I’m totally over Hunter King. I mean, not that there was ever anything to get over. Our families have been friends forever and he dated my sister back when I was still just a kid, but even if me and my right hand may have pined for him once upon a time, I barely ever think of him anymore.
I mean never. I never think of him anymore.
Did I mention I’m over it?
Hunter
Weddings are a great place to get laid, but when I show up for my ex’s big day, I’m hoping to get a lot more than that. I’ve never admitted it, but the reason I broke up with her all those years ago was because of her brother. One look at little Simon Lawson and I was a goner. Of course I didn’t say anything though, not back then. I didn’t touch him. Always kept my distance. I had to, because he was just a kid...but he’s all grown up now.
I’ve bided my time for years, but now I’m ready to see if the feeling is mutual. And if it is, I know exactly what I want. I want Simon. I want a family. And I want it forever. And even though I’ve never been the kind of alpha who imposes his will on omegas, when I finally realize just what it is that my omega needs, I know I’ll do anything at all to make that forever happen.
In fact, I’ll do everything.
Make Me Give In is the first book in the Omega Celibacy Club series, a contemporary omegaverse world where the only thing stronger than an alpha’s will is his desire to keep his omega happy, and where even omegas who don’t believe in fated mates sometimes still find them.

Simon, the Fixer
Simon, an omega determined to help his omega peers to not be derailed from their college ideals and goals, creates a celibacy club. Simon and his friends are in for a great experience in life lessons.
I enjoyed the concept of the book and how passionate Simon was. He deserved an Alpha like Hunter, loving and supportive and yet sooo dominant. And the sexy scenes sounded amazing 😉

Knotty Naughtiness!
Angel Knots is a new to me author and I enjoyed the first in the series of audiobooks, Make Me Give In.
Simon is an omega at university and is determined to finish his degree and achieve the career of his dreams, not follow his biology and meet an Alpha, become pregnant and drop out before graduation.
He convinces his housemates to start the Omega Celibacy Club (OCC)
until he goes into superheat and meets Hunter, an Alpha he has known for years, and all his good intentions go out of the window.
The book was well written and the sex was hot!
Charlie David’s narration was a little frantic at times which was probably a reflection of Simons personality but to be honest it just put me on edge so I found it difficult to relax into the story.

Fun and games...
I am a fan of MPreg with sassy omegas and hot alphas and this book did not disappoint.. I very much enjoyed how the characters develop through the story and the finally get together despite the conflict felt by the Simon. Hunter - the alpha was delicious - not your typical "he-man" as he was prepared to make adjustments for Simon and not just demand his rights as an alpha.. I also loved the secondary characters and I am pleased to see that they get their stories too. I'm definitely going to check out Angel Knots backlist as I really enjoyed this story.
Charlie David is a new-to-me narrator, and I am so glad to find a new story teller. I thought his telling of the story was great. His different voices for the character was awesome,

Really enjoyable
A new to me Author which I'm going to have to look for more book by them. Simon is anOmega that I really liked. He has plans which he plans to bring to fruition, great characters and world building and as I have said I'm going to check out more books. Written in a way that I enjoyed a lot. Charlie David was fabulous with the story and take on all the characters, one would definitely recommended

Hunter is Simon’s snickerdoodle
I’ll start my review by discussing Charlie David. I enjoy his narrations because he always delivers a solid and reliable performance. He had distinct voices for each of the male characters (and there were a bunch of them), and handled the rest of the book with a solid narration. I’m glad he helmed this book.
I did enjoy the book although I didn’t love it. The story was fairly predictable – an omega who knows pregnancy will ruin his chances of having a successful career and life beyond being a husband and father. Simon is so worried that he recruits his brother and two friends into creating the Omega Celibacy Club. They take a celibacy (note – not virginity) pledge, dedicated to foreswearing all intercourse with alphas until they graduate university. It’s funny to watch how each member tries to figure out what he can get away with (is oral sex included? what about watching porn?).
Simon, although founding member, soon gives up the pledge. He’s found his mate and he’s on blockers, so what’s the big deal, right? Of course I knew he was going to wind up pregnant. Of course I knew he was going to freak out. Of course I knew things would work out in the end. I was looking for more with this book, the first in the series. I wanted to see character growth, but all I saw was overwrought and anxiety. You’d think there had never been a successful working mother before to set a good example. Or, in this world, a father who gave birth and then went on to a career. Even stories from those close to Simon don’t really move the needle with him. I guess I wanted more differentiation between the standard knocked up and pregnant story. It’s a tried and true trope, but I hoped this would go further.
All that being said, I enjoyed the book and will pick up the next one in the series. I’m interested to see how the other men react to Simon’s fatherhood and their own raging omega hormones.

Life Doesn't Always Go As Planned, So Flow With It
Charlie David is a new-to-me narrator, but he does a great job of binging these guys to life.
I'm also not familiar with Angel Knots, but I am a fan of MPreg with sassy omegas and hot alphas. This book did not disappoint on all counts. I very much enjoyed how the characters finally get together despite the reluctance on one side to trust an alpha after previous bad experiences. Recommended for all lovers of MPreg and Omega/Alpha stories.

Wonderful narration for this fun new series
A new author to me in Angel Knotts and I really enjoyed the series that she's started with Make Me Give In. We get introduced to a great group of omegas that I'm looking forward to reading more of with some seeds sown in this book for future stories.
Book 1 focuses on omega Simon, fed up of seeing other omega's give up everything for their alpha, starts the Omega Celibacy Club with his friends and brother. Unbeknownst to him, within days he'll meet the alpha that he's longed for for several years and everything will change for him.
Hunter knows exactly what, and who, he wants when he goes to the wedding of an ex. Her brother, Simon, has been on his mind for years though he has been waiting and allowing the young man to grow up and now he's ready to get his man.
The two men work well together, you can tell there's attraction and a connection between the two. Angel has written them well, allowing us to experience everything along with them as you read their story. There's a roller coaster of emotions for both men with interference from friends, family, heats and emotions that keep both men on their toes. The story moves along at a good pace, I love all of the characters that we meet and there are definitely enough hot scenes to keep you on your toes :-)
I recommend trying this new series, and looking forward to more from this author.
This is my first experience of listening to Charlie David's narration and I have to say I think he has done a perfect job in capturing the characters personalities and emotions as we work through the drama and developing relationship of Hunter and Simon. Each man has his own voice and really enjoyed listening to the story throughout.

Fun and Flirty
This is a fun and flirty, fairly low angst take on alpha and omega relationships. I loved the notion of the Omega Celibacy club and the way the omegas all supported each other and their dreams. I loved the way Hunter was willing to make adjustments for Simon and not selfishly demand that Simon serve him. I was a little disappointed that Simon gave in so easily and immediately to his desires. (I mean how can he expect Tris to resist if he/Simon doesn't even make a token effort?) Still, I enjoyed the love story of these true mates.
The narration seemed a little stiff to me at first, bur either Mr. David got more into the story or I got used to his voice, because pretty quickly I was really enjoying the audio. He did a good job of giving every character a distinct voice and I especially loved his take on Tris.

Amazing and so hot
I absolutely loved this book and Charlie David brought it to life perfectly. The relationship between Simon and Hunter was just beautiful and I'm not sure what to say about the sex scenes, other than they were smoking hot - melt your underwear hot. I seriously cannot recommend this book highly enough and cannot wait to jump into book two.
