Kaitlyn and the Highlander- fantasy with drama
I love this series written by Diana Knightley. The narration is great and draws you into the great story. As you travel from the first book and progress through the adventures of this couple striving to stay together through time. You will find it magnetic and exciting. Lovers, friends and family dynamics are told with great empathy and humour.
I enjoy these reads for escapism during a busy day where I am there for everyone else- this is for me, and brings me back to me immediately!
If you like adventure, wit, battle, intrigue, suspense and hot romance then I would recommend this book.
The narration in Audiobooks are new to me and I had read the books in kindle previous to Audio and being Scottish I know the accents. Shane and Kiera do a brilliant job- there is the odd mispronunciation ie Keira, Balloch -it’s Bal- loch bot Bale loch. Also loch does not sound like lock. These are minor and I can easily forgive them, because the enthusiasm and character voice changes are amazing- (especially when Magnus is reading as Kaitlyn! - quite cute!)
