About this listen

FBI Agent Diana Sheen is an agent with a secret....

...she carries a badge and a troll, along with a little magic.

But her Most Wanted List is going to take a little extra effort.

She'll have to embrace her powers and up her game to take down new threats.

Not to mention deal with the troll that's adopted her.

All signs point to a serious threat lurking just beyond sight, pulling the strings to put the forces of good in harm's way.

Magic or mundane, you break the law, and Diana's gonna find you, tag you, and bring you in. Watch out magical baddies, this agent can level the playing field.

It's all in a day's work for the newest Federal Agent of Magic.

Get the book 1-8 version and you will have spent your money well...

The story has many interesting characters and a interesting world, even if the plot is not as great as the author seems to think...
I've enjoy this book, but the length made it feel like it was just cut at a point that had slightly less action.
getting the series in one connected book will remove half of my frustration I think

slightly above average with potential

I didn’t finish it unfortunately. I got to the last hour and gave up. I have listened to Traci Odom before and think she is an acquired taste. She can deliver the most amazing changes in voices but I still find her overall delivery monotonous unfortunately. The story I’m sure will be very good. I found the troll and max quite entertaining but could not put it all together.

Great start to a new series in the Oriceran Universe - we have:
Diana, FBI agent with telekenesis and a warning of impending danger;
Bryant, Special Agent in Charge of ARES who is trying to recruit Diana; and
Rath, the purple haired troll Diana saved on her first mission with Bryant.
And we mustn't forget Max the Borzoi Diana adpoted from the local animal rescue centre.

Plenty of action and a good build up to Diana becoming a SAC with her own team.

Narration was very good and brought the story to life.

Well worth listening to :)

A New Troll!!!!

I read this book as was included but it was much better than I thought it would be. It’s different to my normal reading but I’m going to go onto book 2!

Enjoyable listening

I liked book 1, nothing spellbinding but easy listening, by book 2 the almost constant fight scenes which take up easily 90% of the story were boring me and for the first time in forever I actually ditched the book without finishing it.

heavily focused on battle and fight scenes.
