About this listen
Captain Rebecca Tansky is facing a court-martial. Reilly and Mitchell have to investigate why she went rogue and committed treason by violating a treaty with a planet that has the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. Reilly knows there is more than what meets the eyes, and they need to discover the truth before Tansky faces a firing squad and the Alliance is drawn into a conflict that they can not win.

Fast paced, plenty of action, though not the usual battleship engagement kind, and an interesting array of characters. Including Max, a cognitive AI.
Narration by Dave Cruse was excellent: not only did he sound as if he was fully aware of what he was reading but also was enjoying the book also. Well timed and articulate, each character was given an individual and appropriate voice, both male and female completely believable. Not easy, and a fine performance.
My thanks to Free Audible Book Codes from whom I received a complimentary copy of Lt.Reilly and the Tansky Gambit, at my request. Although book four in the Lt.Reilly series, I'm can be read as a stand alone. Very human and fun, this is a good read
