Summary
Love Your Space is devoted to the subject of well-being and space design. Interior designers create environments that enhance the quality of life, work, health, and the experience of the users. A good designer will explore possible benefits with the users who sometimes might not realize or understand what might be even possible. Design can and should be a medium for encouraging positive change in attitudes to how we live and work. Through case studies, we show how, through innovative solutions, designs can encourage users to be more active and make life easier and happier by positively affecting their mental and physical well-being. Whether you're looking to learn a bit more about the subject or looking for some interior inspiration for your home, this book is for you.
Katie Malik has always been an art enthusiast. With her roots in the United Kingdom, Malik has always been passionate about interior designing. Malik began her training at the Chelsea College of Arts, which greatly broadened her hands-on aesthetic experience in the designing field. She has successfully accomplished big projects in London, New York, and Chicago before beginning her own practice in 2014. Malik’s greatest inspiration comes from colors, which influence her take on her project’s symmetry and asymmetry. In every project she takes on, her primary aim is to bring about only the best of her client’s wishes, leaving the floors at its best. Her impact has received wide recognition and has been given a high prize by Lux and UK Property Awards. Another high accomplishment was one of Malik’s projects that was covered in the Ideal Home magazine and Houzz’s editorial article. Malik has also received a feature on the D-List of 2019, an ultimate list of home kitchen and bathroom interior designs. She also became a finalist at the Grand Designs live in 2018.
