Great loved this story from start finish, a young girl who thinks herself plain and thinking no man wants her, was great to see her realise that she was loved.

Really hard to press pause on this audiobook, the story was really good. Not remotely historically accurate, but who cares, the characters were richly brought to life and who can resist a love story? I genuinely like Alice Coldbreath's writing style, and I'm giving 5 stars to the narrator too.
This is really worth a listen.

I enjoyed the story and will read/listen to more by this author. The only drawback was the pronunciation of Isolde and plait. If the narrator was British then she was not familiar with either the name or the hair style in British English pronunciation and it grated a little as both words occurred frequently. However, if that’s my only niggle, I’m just nit picking. So, if you enjoy a romantic fantasy, give this title a whirl.

It took me forever to start this book because in my head, wolf shifter set in medieval time seems rather odd and heavy.

Nope, I was wrong. This story was a freaking breath of fresh air compared to all the books I’ve read in the genre!

I loved it so much and I want more. I honestly wish this book was double the size and wouldn’t mind some meandering stories in between just to be in the presence of the characters and to being their world more.

Performance of the Voice Over Actor was meh though.

There are parts of it I didn’t enjoy (one of them being that how silly and worthless does this FMC think she is but then at times she’s a strong-minded woman?) but overall it was fun listening to this. Also, yes I skipped sleep for this. I am now in the office cradling a mocha in my hands due to 3 hours of sleep.

This was such a hilarious ride from the fmc’s pragmatic acceptance to the mmc’s clueless possessiveness

the story is light hearted and a bit silly at times. it's a historical romance, so it was no surprise the heroine was totally naive about spicy times with her husband. She was also a human and was quite surprise when she found out he was a shifter. All in all an interesting story with good narration.
