Angela Trainer is a psychotherapist who, faced with the impending loss of her beloved “Captain” father to cancer, began writing down her thoughts, and feelings as she went through a maelstrom of emotions. Aware of the value of a written outlet for such feelings, her diary began as a private group on Messenger, growing to the extent that she began posting publicly so more people could - hopefully - benefit from her Journey. She never intended to write a book - it was only when a friend suggested her own highs, lows, insights, and outpourings could help others chart a course through the stormy seas of loss of any kind, that Angela compiled those posts into the book you are now listening to.
