Summary

great stories - performance needed better editing

The stories, of course, are excellent. Fabienne Prost is, on the whole, a good narrator. However, it would have greatly helped if there had been a clearer indication of when each story ended. The narrator rushes on, sometimes making it seem that the sentence has not even ended. And the shifts from one story to the next do not coincide perfectly with the chapter-breaks.
