Les fiancés de l’hiver écrit par Christelle Dabos est un roman envoûtant, rempli de mystère que les jeunes s’empressent de finir. Conquis du début à la fin de l’histoire vous n’arriverez pas à faire décrocher votre enfant. La lecture de Clothilde Seille amène de la douceur et de la délicatesse à l’histoire, ce qui est très agréable pour l’auditeur. L’histoire d’Ophélie une jeune fille avec des dons assez particuliers qui se voit forcée d’épouser Thorn. Elle se retrouve en plein milieu d’un complot entre clan. Que va-t-elle faire pour se sortir de cette situation ? Nous n’avons qu’un seul mot, CAPTIVANT.

enjoyable writing style

I really liked the writing which, with its rich vocabulary reminded me of Daniel Pennac,. I started reading the book and then downloaded the audio midway because I did not have any more time to read.
The narrator is very good with a clear elocution and different voices for characters, She just does not suit the book. To morose maybe? It sounds like an old fairy tale instead of steam punk. I will still continue with the second book, but I would have read it, if I had the time.
