Great introduction with a mix of lessons and topic

What made the experience of listening to Learn Romanian - Level 1: Introduction to Romanian, Volume 1: Lessons 1-25 the most enjoyable?

The mix of speakers is excellent and the pacing is very good

This series of lessons is a mix of the absolute beginner audio from the romanianpod101 site and although the site has lots of nice additional features, this collection is handy for learning on the go as the lessons follow one after another. The teaching is excellent but would be improved by having less of the cultural background and more active practice of the language. This however is a minor quibble as it is extremely interesting. I would recommend both this audio book and membership to the site.
