Most relevant  
narration is very poor. monosyllabic monotone speaker and you can't tell one character from another. story set in France and England yet were served up with American twang with a voice sitting in the back of the throat with poor pronation.
Rake series by Anita Mills much better narration and stories. I've now given up on this particular series.
