Summary

Excellent read. Page turner

Knight of Gaelgara is an intricately woven story taking on the genre of fantasy while having a historical element to it. There are quite a few characters, plot threads, and different points of view making you think about the unfolding story from different perspectives .
The characters have been filled out nicely and their struggles are relatable. The family relationships between Sir Rosalind and her father and siblings give real substance.

The action starts early and builds and builds into an epic battle but there are humorous moments amid the seriousness of war

The narration by Helen Duff was excellent, her ability to voice many characters in different ways allows for keeping track of the various characters based on variation in narrative voice alone.

I look forward to the next installment of The War of Souls Apocrypha
