Summary
The sex tape... The fish stew... The unspeakables... The storm... The font... The bathtub... The ice... The gun... The clothes... The humiliation... The shower... The letters...
The vow.
I had my chance to run from these brutal boys, and I didn’t take it. The bonds between us are too strong now. Bonds of blood, oaths, betrayal, and vengeance. And I intend to make good on all of them. I’ve made my list. And I won’t stop until each and every one of their crimes has been paid for.
Divide and conquer.
We’re going to tear them apart from the inside out. I won’t quit until I’ve had my pound of flesh and then some. These broken boys paint themselves up as kings and stand themselves on a pedestal above everybody else. But that only means they’ve got further to fall. And they’re going to fall hard.
I know their strength now, but I’ve learned their weaknesses, too. And I might just be becoming their greatest one. My father taught me how to survive, and it’s time to use everything I know about predators to lure them into my own trap.
Lies, betrayal, seduction.
I’ll use every weapon at my disposal to bring them to their knees, and once I’m done with them, they won’t own me.
I’ll own them.
This is book two in a dark romance series with love-hate themes, scenes of intense bullying, sexual scenes, and may have triggers for some listeners. It is a reverse harem, which means the main character will end up with multiple partners.
A dark high school bully romance

Kings of Lockdown
This is the second book in the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series. Where do I even start? This book is amazing. The Night Keepers gain their fourth and final member. Tatum and the boys set rules for each other. They get to hand out punishments if and when the rules are broken. The lines might be starting to blur between Tatum and the Night Keepers. She is realizing that there is more to every side of the story. That ending though! I can’t wait to dive into the third book! Bridget and Jake Bordeaux are both absolutely phenomenal narrators.

Riveting
The twists and turns in this book kept me listening . I love that Tatum still refuses to give in to the boys and had to laugh at her getting her own back.

The moment I finally started to twig the squid situation 🤣🤣
The humour in this series is fantastic, the development of tatums relationships with the boys has me on the edge of my seat most of the time. I’m a happily engaged woman but my oh my would I enjoy being Tatum!
Another fantastic performance from The Bordeaux’s! Definitely making me want to download the ZA’s audios for a reread!

Favorite series of all time
This is one of my all time favorite series. I reread it every year. And this was my first time listening to the audiobook. I love Jake and Bridget! But I will say most of it was me skipping to my favorite parts lol.
As always, I had a fun time and still love this series. On to my reread of Kings of Anarchy.

Not a single boring chapter
Amazing character development. I didn’t want to read this because of the name of the book (too soon ladies) but I am so glad I did.

Thoroughly enjoyable listen!
Kings of Lockdown has to be my favourite of the series so far, it's so wonderfully, well-written, beautifully paced and has you feeling like your hanging onto a rollercoaster who's safety bar is malfunctioning! After how Kings Of Quarantine ended things were definitely going to change, it's clear that Kyan, the most unlikely of them has become extremely attached, whilst Blake still struggled with his inner demons and grief over his mum and blames Tatum for her dad. As for Saint .... I feel this quote best sums things up with him ... "hate, hate, hate, double hate ...LOATHE ENTIRELY!"
Monroe is added into the Night Keepers ranks after what he did for Tatum and the school during the attack which ends with the school being quarantined for 48 hours. This offer Tatum and Monroe the perfect opportunity to work together and destory these boys from inside, although Monroe's sights are set on only one man .... Saint!
There is so much relationship development between them all, even Saint and Tatum though he's an extremely stubborn OCD man so it's not always obvious but the fact she is now able to set her own rules and terms shows they like her more than they were expecting too. Blake finally realises that he's not angry with Tatum for what her father has done but he's angry that he wants the daughter of the man who 'supposedly' caused the virus that killed his mum. Blake is all confused and very up in his feelings but it was nice to see him come back down to earth and begin apologising and being the easygoing, happy, puppy of the group. Although his previous alpha behaviour definitely shows that despite his outward appearance and personality he belongs here with these four jaded and dark minded males and female.
Really enjoyed listening to Bridget and Jake bring this story to life made the experience of reading the book again so much more enjoyable. There able to add unique nuances in their voices to accurately portray the characters and and highlight their personalities so much better. Throughly enjoyable read/listen that I cannot recommend enough!

love it
Oh my... that ending had me at the edge of my seat! I need the next book now.
I liked this even more than the first book. I got to know the brutal boys better in this one, and I must say I like what I see. I have to grudgingly admit that I'm starting to like Saint. Dammit... I think all these morally grey men have broken my sanity.
The audio is superb as usual 👌 nothing to fault.
