Two young women are missing, their only connection being that they attended the same party, hosted by a notorious businessman. When one of the women is found murdered, the police discover an unusual signature left by the killer, giving them reason to suspect he will strike again.

classic Jo Nesbo
first-time audio and loved it. plenty of twists to keep you entertained. Characters have realistic flaws and depth. been a fan for years and glad Harry Hole is back

Gripping!
Sean Barrett is the best narrator, he makes the story come to life. Love Jo Nesbo and Harry, can’t wait for the next one.

Nesbø never disappoints
Always been a Harry Hole fan, read every book and this was the 1st Audiobook version I've had.
Great performance, the gruff and gritty narration compliments the dark nature of the novel well.

Gripping read
Loved everything about the book, other than the narrator's attempt at the voice of the young son of Katrina, Gert which was cringey! Great plot, Harry Hole never disappoints.

Re-encounter with an old friend. Hello Harry..
The moment the audio track began and I heard Sean’s voice I cheered and sent positive thoughts to Jo, Sean and of course Harry and the Team..now sadly down one fav. It amazes me that I feel as if I “know” all these people who have walked through these novels. I remember who has sadly gone, why Harry is like he is..a whole little cosmos circling round the now “familiar” Oslo streets. And, we have all aged, like all the people who battle on to do the right - or wrong thing. And the thing about mice..is that a Nesbø thing?

Excellent Storyline
An excellent story that keeps you guessing until the very end!
My only criticism is that I often found it hard to make out the names of some of the characters and had to keep replaying bits, wishing that I’d bought the book on kindle rather than audiobooks.

Another good HH
It was captivating for sure and I had a hard time putting it down. However, the series is getting quite predictable and it was his first book where I had figured out the murderer long before the end. It’s probably the last one I’m reading in the series.
