The author took too much for granted. We’re not all privy to the law to the extent that a judge or a lawyer would be. His words sometimes irritated me with that fact. JWG was a sorry person. But I felt the young lives of all those men meant much more. He didn’t deserve that level of defence or compassion. I felt like the author was more focused on it being his first case as a lawyer in his own right than the men murdered. Just my opinion.

Definitely and without a doubt one of the beat books I've ever listened to, excellently narrated and brilliant from start to finish, can't reccomend highly enough

Engaging and beautifully narrated. How do you defend such a person as John Wayne Gacy? Sam Amirante and Danny Broderick did and it changed them forever. This book teaches us that no matter how heinous the crime EVERYONE is entitled to a free and fair trial. Robin Bloodworth invests a huge amount of energy whilst beautifying and skilfully narrating this book.

Fantastic performance from the narrator. Great ability to slip from character to character, making it believable.
If it wasn't for this particular person reading the book I do believe I would of quit listening.
The first half was good then the rest was virtue signalling, self serving drivel from the lawyer/author.
Oh aren't we always on the moral high ground?
John G was creepy as he sounds!
