difficult to listen to
this is a good book, but needs to be read by someone else, the authors delivery is awful, with poor inflections and pauses, it makes the listening experience really hard to follow, which is a shame

self promotion and not much else
I hoped to learn a lot from this person, from his dual perspective as former police officer and investigative journalist. But honestly, it felt like listening to his LinkedIn profile. Also, voiceover is a skill most authors do not have, this one certainly didn't.

Fairly interesting but not essential listening
It is fairly interesting. The author has made a positive impact on society and has the best of intentions but it is tiring to hear him tell us how brilliant and noble he is quite so often. I also agree with another review - he pauses at very strange times which makes for a very unsettling listen.

The content hasn’t been overly glamorised, fact based whilst movingly heart wrenching.

A fantastic listen.
I have always been fascinated with the investigation of crimes, particularly missing persons/murders, so this one was a delight to me.
A must for anyone with an interest in thus type of thing.

Interesting listen
I enjoyed this book. I think the work done by Mark Williams-Thomas is remarkable and I admire his skills and efforts. The book gives a really good insight into the world of modern crime. Sometimes sad and sometimes dangerous. The audio editing is a bit choppy though.

Great true events he's some guy
This investigator is superb he just doesn't know when to give up. Giving families peace of mind when police have failed due to funding Mark starts and refuses to quit. Keep up the good work I hope I never need you
