This series gets btter and better. I love the world building and how the characters use their skills. Much happens in this book and I look forward to the next. There is intrigue and some nice twists from what I expected to happen.

Pit was impressive in this book I loved his descriptions of people.

The narrator did an outstanding job he really is excellent. The animal sounds can't be easy and I liked his enthusiasm the pace of the narration was perfect too.

There is not too many stat sheets. Overall a most enjoyable listen.

Great book with great characters and development but the broken skills are just annoying and the maw should have died in book 1 (just doesn’t seem like an overarching villain that suits the Mc)

cCan't wait for book 4, so much happend in this volume with the plot, story and character development.
Also the action scenes were explained in a nice flow with all the skills.

This has the elements of a series that should be good but doesn't quite click, it's just wide of the mark. It's not terrible but I can't really say it's good either, it's meh! The story doesn't make a lot of sense, I know it's fantasy but the plot should at least be clear and i don't mean it has to be linear but I didn't really know what was happening or why and worst of all I didn't really care.

I'm going to give it one last go with the next book but if it's more of the same that will be the end of the road for this series for me.

I'm still enjoying the story and performance (minus pits weird too low pitched screech which I guess is a mix between a hawk and a dog? LOL) new setting with Hold and New characters being introduced. as well as new abilities. It does seem he is able to shuck off pain now to a minor inconvenience, so will be interesting to see what happens in the next volume
