Summary
A steamy, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy about mistakes we make and the chances we take on the road to love.
After a snowstorm grounds her flight, Lucy makes a last-ditch effort to get home for Christmas using a rideshare app. She thinks she’ll be taking a road trip with a stranger...but the guy who shows up is someone she knows all too well. He’s the hookup she ghosted a few months ago, and now she’ll be stuck in a car with him for the most awkward road trip of her life.
Making matters worse, he’s even more gorgeous than she remembers—too bad things between them are frostier than the North Pole. Will the long ride home allow them to get to know each other in surprising new ways? And more importantly, will the season warm things up and send sparks flying yet again? Cute and festive, not serious.
Not the greatest but fun and easy listening - free with prime so why not. Story is simple albeit a bit dull at times but cute to listen to at Christmas time.

Very cheesy but a book that could easily be made into a hallmark movie! Really enjoyed it. Will listen to more by the author.

Female narrator is good, the male narrator is terrible
Painfully below average story, and the man's chapters with the male narrator sounds so strange. I finished it because I started it and it was only short. But wouldn't recommend this listen

Cheesy Christmas cringe (if you like that sort of thing!)
An enjoyable listen and super festive, kept me entertained on my drives to work over the festive period. Did find it quite cringe worthy in places but if you’re into that then you’ll really enjoy this.

Really nice Christmas romance
This book does what it says on the tin, so I'm not sure why those who complained about it being predictable did so. This is a feelgood Christmas romance, funny/amusing, and narrated well. Andy A is a fan fave, and I really like Jason C's steady delivery (does not sound like AI) having already listened to him narrate quite a few other books. HEA is delivered, saucy in parts 😌, good side-characters. Worth the listen in my opinion.
