A little voice in my ear, telling me how to do the exercises properly without risk of injury and assuring me that it’s okay to start off gently. I started by doing the warm ups and cool downs only – just to check I was okay with that. Then I started following the full body routine plans, doing the easiest form of each exercise as best I could but only for 30 seconds and only doing one round of each exercise. I’m happy carrying on like this, improving gradually, and I have already noticed that I am getting stronger. I am not perfect at all of the exercises (yet) but I do what I can and I am definitely improving. High Five for me. I’m excited to see just how far I can go.
The pdf of the exercise diagrams is great. I can look at these while listening to the audio and I know I am doing the exercises properly. I use water bottles for weights, a table for pull ups and a chair for tricep dips – no expensive equipment required. It’s also nice to have the anatomy diagrams to see which muscles I am working.
I signed up for the Free Gift and received 4 more weeks of exercises. My weekly routine is now varied and interesting, and I can see I am getting better from checking the Progress Charts which I complete after each workout. High Five again.
Overall, I think this is a well written and informative book / audio book for anyone of any fitness level, as exercises are progressive. It’s full of very useful information, described in a simple to understand way and I feel the author genuinely knows what he is talking about; a medical student who is studying the human body, knows how it works and how to keep it fit and healthy. Oh, and the narrator has a very nice voice too; one that you can easily listen to and understand. It’s a Win/Win from me. Highly recommended.

I recently moved away from my apartment with a gym. I was really worried about continuing to make gains, especially because I don't want to pay for a gym membership. (Call me cheap!)
I'd been doing some bodyweight exercises on my own at home, but I wasn't really feeling the burn. I wasn't really pushing myself. And I could feel myself getting fatter (and see it. lol)
This book completely turned that around for me. I love it! I feel like I've had a really good workout after I'm done. I can't wait to see what this does for me over the next year. :)
