Those two are so amazing together. And Cody hits it off from the start with Haileys adorable daughter.

We are not just in the present in this story. To understand everything much clearer Amy travels with us into the past, where Cody and Hailey first met.

A perfect Time River story, small town, single mum, kind of second chance. And let's not forget the steamy scenes *yummy*

I was listening to the audio and I loved the performance of both narrators.

This is the fourth book in the Time River Series, a single mom small town romance. Hailey and Cody's story is beautifully written, and engaging. Cody, a handsome cowboy, is such a great man, supportive, possessive, and protective. Hailey is a great single mom, beautiful, smart, strong, caring, and determined. Hailey's daughter Maddie is adorable. The supporting characters are great! Hailey's Grandma Lolly is a wonderful character. The story is filled with romance, humor, mystery, suspense, and unexpected twists and turns. This is a great second chance romance. Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon did an excellent job bringing these characters, and this story to life. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this series.

It’s always a little bittersweet when you read the last book in a series. I have loved being in the small town of Time River. I feel like I know the local businesses, can envisage the locales, and are part of this supportive community who rally whenever they’re needed.

This group of friends eagerly took Hailey and Maddie under their wing, and we got to see friendships form and love bloom. Amy writes relatable characters who stand for each other. True found family. Her little kids are just the cutest, and Maddie was right up there with the others. She fell in love with her favourite Mr. Cody.

I always bookmark the sh*t out of Amy’s books. From cute kids to delicious spice. It’s all there.

Erin is a fabulous voice actor, bringing so much dimension to the characters she embodies. Couple that with Stephen's soft but firm tone and the fantastic production by Lyric Audiobooks, and you have a winning audiobook experience.

If you love your romance with a side of suspense, then Amy is the author for you. She weaves that suspense throughout her stories, leading you on with the breadcrumbs of clues as to who might be doing the dastardly deeds.

A fantastic closer to this amazing small-town romantic suspense series.

What a way to end the series. I have loved being in Time River with this bunch and Cody and Hailey have finished the series on a high. The suspense element kept me on my toes and there was a good twist to the tale which had me gripped. I enjoyed getting the backstory on Hailey and Cody. Both come with some demons they had to work through. Both love fiercely and family plays a big part in this story.
This book had some great characters and good character development. Cody was such a softy by the end, he really blossomed and showed how protective he is with the ones he loves.
The audio was so good. Both narrators did a fab job of bringing their characters to life and made for a very enjoyable listen. Im sad its over but i have loved my time in Time River

Hold Me Until Morning by A.L. Jackson is an extraordinary, steamy, and heartfelt romance with just the right amount of suspense to make a perfect addition to the author’s Time River series.

Cody and Hailey shared a forbidden crush in their youth, but one night changed everything, and they lost touch. Until now that fate has thrust them back together, rekindling old sparks.

While I adore our two mains, I have to highlight Lolly, Hailey’s absolute gem of a grandmother. Her humor had me in stitches, and not to mention the crucial role she plays in the whole storyline.

As with the previous instalments, the plot twists once again were unpredictable and kept me glued to my earbuds. And as much as it was heartwarming and riveting, there was one particular scene that had me in absolute tears.

If you adore single mom, forced proximity, small-town, suspenseful romances with a dash of spice, this book – and this series in general – is for you.

Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon were phenomenal as Cody and Hailey. Stephen's grumpy yet playful portrayal of Cody was delightful, and Erin's kind and emotional voice brought Hailey to life beautifully. They captured the essence of every character, evoking real emotions and making you feel each one deeply. Their portrayal of secondary characters, including the children, was equally impressive.

The perfect mix of suspense and romance, small town, single parent love, and I am sold. A L Jackson once again captured my heart and had in racing in fear and in love! Hailey and Cody have chemistry. Chemistry that started six years ago, but due to Cody's actions, nothing ever happened. Now he's back in town, living next door to her and her adorable daughter Maddie. Being neighborly is the right things to do, at least Maddie thinks so, and Cody is more than happy to oblige with all the things that need to be done. When Hailey's ex comes knocking though, a different version of Cody comes to visit. The alpha protector. Now staying with them in their house to keep them safe could be the difference between friends and lovers. But will he be able to keep them safe? Talk about surprises? It's no surprise that I fell in love with this cowboy. Sweet, hunky and when he was with Maddie, I was sold. Hailey has baggage, more than just her ex, and that definitely weighs her down. And Lolly her grandmother is a breath of fresh air. Spunky with good advice, she is willing to do anything for her family. But the shocker, the incredible twist that had my heart racing made this story an over the top sensation. Surprise, tears and incredible pain had me going. Jackson's writing is so intuitive, I was feeling it all. Amazing story added to this fantastic series.

Narrated by Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon, the story flowed with ease. Humor, witty banter, fantastic. Building of suspense, surprise, shock, fear, pain, and love? All there within each scene, with both these fabulous narrators and I could not bear to turn it off til I knew how it ended. This is the magic of audio and these two talents made it an incredible listen.

The last Time River book 😢
This series was so good, so emotional that I’m sad it’s over.
Cody was the ultimate lady’s man but Hailey’s sudden return to his life turned his life upside down. Her return also brought danger to his door, once again. Hailey was a strong and fierce young lady with a lot of secrets and running away from them. Getting entangled with each other was not planned but it was sizzling and unstoppable. It was a long time coming but once it happened there was no stopping the love and devotion.
Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon were brilliant as Cody and Hailey. They gave their all and really made each character shine.

It is great to be back in Time River for another incredible novel and A.L. Jackson has outdone herself with this story, an impressive romantic suspense with some mind blowing twists that you never see coming. This multilayered story captivated my attention from start to end, and as always, the writing, plot and world building are phenomenal, as are the character growth and development. The last person Cody Cooper ever expected to move into the neighboring house was Hailey Wagner, the two have history, a complex history and she was not exactly happy to see him, despite the years that have passed. She returned to Time River after leaving her husband, who was not a good person, with their daughter, Madison, and has her grandmother, Lolly, living with them. When Cody was young, his desperation led him to make terrible decisions and down the wrong road, and why Hailey’s father warned him away from his daughter. He has since changed direction, built up his own business and even won a bid for a job worth millions. One that brings him back to where it all started for him and Hailey, and not all memories are good. Hailey had crushed on Cody back in the day, and so did her friend Brooke, so that made him off limits, but that did not stop her feelings towards him. Cody was a player and did not allow anyone to get close to him, so he was more of a love-them and leave-them type of guy and still is, or so he thought. When Hailey’s soon to be ex-husband pays an unwanted visit, Cody goes into protective mode and wow, that was something to see. Clearly, these two had unresolved feelings for each other, and the chemistry between them was smoking hot. I loved how everything played out in this book, including the flashbacks to the past to give a glimpse of events that explain why things are the way they are in the current day. Keeping it vague to avoid spoiler, but I also love how pieces of the puzzle all fall together and who came through in the end to make it all right, despite it breaking my heart. There is never a dull moment in this book, and the story has a perfect balance drama, some charming moments to lighten up the darker ones, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Shout out to the scene stealer, Madison, Cody’s little button and he was amazing with her. You got to love A.L. Jackson’s children, not only adorable, but their dialogue is some of the best. Thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon were all around perfection, from their character voices to their performance. Their portrayal of each character was spot on, nailing both lead roles while grasping every aspect of their personality, humanizing them with their emotions, and having you feel each one. They were equally amazing performing the roles of the secondary characters, too, children included. These two are entertaining storytellers and their performance elevates this already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

📖 This series has been such a fun one full of all the things we all love about small town and AL Jackson — family, found family, cocky men, and the women they love. I’ve been waiting for Cody and his story did not disappoint! He’s been a player, but also a caretaker for those he loves. Until Hailey walks back into his life, with her mini me at her side. He’s bombarded with her at work and at home, neighbors of course. I love how AL slowly unveiled their history with each other and the secrets they both have. They both deserved more than they got in the past, and I love the happy ending they got! This was such a nice wrap up to the series. PS Shortcake and Button are the cutest nicknames, and I melted over ‘my very best Cody’ 💕

🎧 I think this may be an unpopular and minority opinion, but Erin Mallon isn’t my fav narrator. While her speaking voice is nice to listen to, her cadence doesn’t feel the most natural, almost sing-songy, and her inflection on individual words doesn’t always feel right to me. Not every voice is going to be a perfect win for every listener, but I want to be clear that this comes down to personal preference in what I like in a narrator and narrator’s style.
Stephen Dexter sounded great as Cody! He has a smooth voice that can be soft and quiet and can also drop down and get a bit rougher. I thought he did an excellent job with kid and female voices as well! His cadence feels natural and is a really easy listen. I definitely want to listen to more of him!
The production quality was excellent, as we can always expect from Lyric!
