Summary
Tenn
I’m too busy to let a mate slow me down.
As one of the last two water dragons in existence, I know it’s my responsibility to help build our numbers back up. But I’m not ready for a mate or a kid. Not yet. Then, Khyler walks into the room and has me questioning everything.
My instincts scream that the kind med student is a divine omega...and my fated mate. Pursuing a relationship with him could mean changing everything about my life.
Am I ready to take the risk for true love?
Khy
I’ve always been wary of dragons, but Tenn is too hot to resist.
My grandfather raised me to stay away from dragons if I didn’t want to exist only to make their babies. But I can tell Tenn isn’t like that. He wants to protect me, but loves that I can defend myself. And he kisses me like I’m the most precious thing in the world.
Being with Tenn means stepping fully into the world of shifters, and I don’t know if I’m ready for that. But when rogue dragons come to town with their sights set on me, I’ll need to rely on him if I’m going to stay safe. And I’m about to find out there’s no way to resist an alpha dragon, especially when he’s your mate.
His Scarred Dragon brings together a scarred alpha with a traumatic past and his bright omega mate. Khy and Tenn may be opposites, but their love burns bright in this m/m shifter romance.

Wow
Ok I must now go and devour the rest of this authors backlist. This really was a fantastic story, I listened to it without the previous books and I really enjoyed it but I think I would have got a little more out of it by listening to the previous books. The narration was spot on and I really loved the chemistry between the main characters. Fantastic novel.

Very Enjoyable
This is a very enjoyable book and a great addition to the series. Although it seems like all the dragons have now found divine omega (DO) mates, I really hope the author gives us a final story to close the circle and let us know if dragon-kind is saved and all the clans learn to live together. This particular story had a bit less external angst and peril for the DO Khyler, but a lot of internal doubt on the part of Khyler, who thinks Ten only wants him for breeding to save his clan, and Ten, who thinks he is unworthy of the smart, motivated Khyler. It was sometimes heart-breaking to watch them struggle. It was a very emotional story, and I loved the way the other DOs, especially Beau, supported Khyler. It's always nice to have friends who have been there. There is a bit of drama and danger, especially after the pregnancy is revealed, but I liked that Khy didn't have to give up his dreams and goals.
The narration was good. Well-paced with strong delivery of emotions and feelings.
I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Kind of grumpy dragon and his sweet omega
Ten isn't ready for a mate, but fate has other plans. Khy, (had to read the book for the spelling 🙂), a med student and divine omega has been concentrating on his career path. Again, fate has other ideas for both of them 😊
When some enemy dragons come around and try to take Khy, Ten steps in to help protect Khy. Enjoyed the story.
Gabriel Amari gave a good performance. I was totally engaged in the story, enjoyed his voices for the various characters. A good way to enjoy the book.

Scarred Dragon - solid listen
I enjoyed the book. I have to adjust to the narrator at the start of each book but settle into him as it goes. The book has a good storyline and chemistry—a great addition to the series.

Great addition
Jill Haven is an amazing writer, have not found anything she did that I did not like. Khy and Tenn are fantastic characters to get to know. Gabriel Amari did a great job with the narration. Think the book can stands on its own, but bets enjoyed as a series.

My favourite in the series!
This is my favourite book in the series.
I adored Kyler; he wasn’t a pushover and made Ten work for his forgiveness and attention. His badass moves in the bar shocked me. Ten was intense, protective and sweet. My favourite part was definitely Ten’s utter shock at Kyler’s moves in the bar.
Great book! The narrator’s performance was exceptional and I was hooked from beginning to end.
