Creepy and compelling
If you like your horror to slowly creep up behind you and drag a cold finger across your neck then this is for you.
From early on a creeping unease is set by the tone, as the story builds you can feel the unease getting closer and closer, although never quite able to fully put your finger on what it is exactly, before finally it’s to late and the end credits role with you still feeling the goosebumps running along your spine.
Highly recommended, great story and excellently delivered - what more could you want.

Another Excellent Horrorbabble Original!
A fantastic collection of short eerie stories all based around one peculiar event on Christmas eve.
The stories are all between 5-10 minutes long and account the strange events of one Christmas eve, in the village of Rillington, from the points of view of different members of the village. The story and format are very original and are well narrated. However I did feel the narration was a little slow at times - but this isn't a problem as you can speed it up on audible anyway. The female voice was a little too theatrical however this didn't subtract from the experience at all.
Overall, this is a gripping, unique audiobook in a very interesting format. Horrorbabble has done it again. I will certainly be re-listening to this in the Christmas period!
